Control panel overview
The control panel is the cockpit for your protection. From here you connect domains and route their traffic through the WebShield network, watch your visitors and the attacks being turned away, host sites and files, pay, and tailor your account.
Navigation is a single list of three blocks that does not change as you move around:
- Domains — your domains and the sections of the domain currently selected. Everything tied to a domain and covered by its plan lives here.
- Services — what exists apart from domains, with its own access and its own billing: object storage and form protection.
- Account — billing, settings, and profile.
The active domain is shown above the section and switched there — but only inside the domain sections: on service and account pages it affects nothing. The panel remembers the last domain, so coming back from billing or settings reopens the one you were working with.
Domains
Section titled “Domains”- All domains — the landing page and overview. For each domain you can see at a glance whether it is delegated to WebShield, which plan is active, and how much traffic it has used. This is where you add new domains.
- Statistics — a live picture of what is happening to the site: Protection (attacks turned away, fake bots), Bans (who is blocked right now and why), Visitors, Site health, Traffic, and a detailed bots breakdown.
- DNS — the domain’s DNS record editor. For
A,AAAA, andCNAMErecords you also switch on proxying here — traffic then flows through the WebShield CDN and protection layer — as well as DNSSEC to keep the records themselves from being tampered with. - Hosts — settings for every host created by switching proxying on: mode (proxying, static site, redirect), certificate, bot protection and its exclusions, request rate limiting, known-bot access, and the request size limit.
- Sites — host static sites directly on the WebShield network: publish a new version, browse the version history, and manage files. Hosting is part of the protection plan, so there is no separate server to rent.
Services
Section titled “Services”- S3 storage — object storage for media, backups, and site files. Access keys, buckets, and usage live on a single page; you pay for what you use. It is not tied to domains.
- Form protection — a verdict on a specific visitor action: a sign-up, a login, a form submission. It works for sites outside our network too.
Account
Section titled “Account”- Billing — balance, plans, payers, and invoices. Top up your balance, change a domain’s plan, and download documents for accounting here.
- Settings — interface language, email and push notifications, account security, and API tokens for automation and CI publishing.
- Profile — your details, linked email, and sign-out.
