Quick start
1. Add a Domain
Section titled “1. Add a Domain”Open Control panel → Domains, click Add domain, and enter the domain without protocol or path, for example example.com.
IDN domains can be entered in their readable form. WebShield normalizes them to the technical ASCII format.
2. Delegate the Domain to WebShield NS
Section titled “2. Delegate the Domain to WebShield NS”In your registrar panel, replace the domain nameservers with:
nsbox.webshield.pronshub.webshield.proSave the changes. Nameserver propagation can take time.
3. Check Delegation
Section titled “3. Check Delegation”Return to Domains and click Check for the domain. The status should become Delegated.
4. Configure DNS Records
Section titled “4. Configure DNS Records”Open DNS and create the records required by your website. Usually these are:
AorAAAAfor the apex domain@;CNAMEforwww;MXandTXTfor email, if email is used on the domain.
5. Enable CDN Proxying
Section titled “5. Enable CDN Proxying”For an A, AAAA, or CNAME record, enable Proxy. Traffic will then pass through WebShield CDN and protection layer.
6. Check Statistics
Section titled “6. Check Statistics”Open Statistics, select a range, and confirm that requests appear in the charts.
