Quick start

1. Add a Domain

Open Control panel → Domains, click Add domain, and enter the domain without protocol or path, for example example.com.

IDN domains can be entered in their readable form. WebShield normalizes them to the technical ASCII format.

2. Delegate the Domain to WebShield NS

In your registrar panel, replace the domain nameservers with:

nsbox.webshield.pro
nshub.webshield.pro

Save the changes. Nameserver propagation can take time.

3. Check Delegation

Return to Domains and click Check for the domain. The status should become Delegated.

4. Configure DNS Records

Open DNS and create the records required by your website. Usually these are:

• A or AAAA for the apex domain @;
• CNAME for www;
• MX and TXT for email, if email is used on the domain.

5. Enable CDN Proxying

For an A, AAAA, or CNAME record, enable Proxy. Traffic will then pass through WebShield CDN and protection layer.

6. Check Statistics

Open Statistics, select a range, and confirm that requests appear in the charts.
