Profile and settings
Sign-up and sign-in
Section titled “Sign-up and sign-in”When you register with an email address, a verification code is sent to your inbox. After you enter the code, the email is confirmed and you are signed in automatically — no separate login step is required.
If you forget your password, use the Forgot your password? link on the sign-in form. We email a reset code; enter the code together with a new password, and you are signed in automatically once it is saved. For security reasons the response is the same whether or not the address is registered. Password recovery is not available for accounts created through an external provider (Microsoft, Facebook) — sign in with that provider instead.
Profile
Section titled “Profile”On the Profile page you can change your name and password, and sign out.
- Name — edit the field and click Save.
- Email is used as your login and cannot be changed here.
- Change password — opens a dialog where you enter your current and new password. The new password is validated for strength. Accounts created through an external provider without a password cannot change it here — sign in with the provider instead.
Notification settings
Section titled “Notification settings”The Settings page contains the notifications panel: for each event type you choose the delivery channel — email and/or push.
Notification types:
- Sign-in alerts — email when a new sign-in is detected;
- Monthly domain report — a summary of requests, blocked attacks, and traffic;
- Security alerts — protection triggers and attacks on your domains;
- Billing — invoices and received payments;
- Support replies — replies from an operator or the assistant.
Push on this device
Section titled “Push on this device”To receive push notifications, turn on Push on this device in the same panel: the browser asks for permission, after which the push channel becomes available for the selected types. Notifications arrive even when the panel tab is closed; clicking a notification opens the panel. Push delivery requires a browser that supports notifications and a granted permission; if notifications are blocked in the browser settings, unblock them for the site first. On iOS the panel must be added to the home screen.
Account Security
Section titled “Account Security”Use separate accounts for employees, avoid shared mailbox access, and enable sign-in alerts.
