Billing and plans
A plan is assigned to a domain. The current plan is shown in the Domains table.
Top Up the Balance
Section titled “Top Up the Balance”The account balance is kept in the account currency. Plan changes are charged against it.
- Open the Billing section.
- Enter a top-up amount — manually or with a quick-amount button.
- Select a payer.
- Choose a payment method: card online or bank transfer.
- For card payments you are redirected to the payment page; for bank transfer an invoice is created.
- Once the payment is received, the amount is credited to your balance.
Bank Transfer Invoice
Section titled “Bank Transfer Invoice”For a ruble bank transfer, an invoice with payment details is available:
- download the invoice as PDF with the Download invoice (PDF) button;
- the payment QR code is shown right below the button and embedded in the PDF — scan it in your banking app to auto-fill the payment;
- the payment purpose includes the invoice number — keep it, the payment is matched by it.
The balance is credited once the payment reaches the settlement account.
Activity History
Section titled “Activity History”The buttons below the top-up form in the Billing section open dedicated pages:
- Balance activity — all credits and debits of your billing account with the date, related invoice, and payer. Each payment is a separate row: if the same invoice is paid several times, every credit is visible.
- Invoices — all issued invoices across every payer of the account: number, purpose, payment method, amount, and status. Unpaid ruble bank-transfer invoices have a Download PDF button.
Change a Plan
Section titled “Change a Plan”- Open Domains.
- Use the domain actions menu and select plan change.
- Select a new plan.
- WebShield calculates the adjusted amount.
- If the balance is sufficient, confirm the balance charge.
- If the balance is not sufficient, you will be redirected to Billing for payment.
Plan renewal
Section titled “Plan renewal”A paid plan is renewed automatically when the paid period ends: the plan price is charged to the balance and the period is extended.
If the balance is not sufficient:
- The plan keeps working, and you receive an email asking you to top up the balance.
- Top up the balance — the plan is renewed automatically at the next check.
- If the balance stays negative for 7 days, the domain is moved to the free plan.
Moving to the free plan does not disable protection — it keeps working in full. What changes are the plan limits, primarily the included traffic volume. To restore the previous limits, select a plan again.
On the payment page, select an existing payer or create a new one.
Payer types:
- individual;
- organization.
To create one, enter the person or company name.
Payment Methods
Section titled “Payment Methods”The interface supports:
- card;
- bank transfer;
- balance.
After payment creation, invoice details are shown: ID, amount, currency, and status.
Traffic and Limits
Section titled “Traffic and Limits”Limits depend on the selected plan. If a domain exceeds included traffic or needs additional features, choose a plan with a larger limit.
Traffic consumption for the billing period is shown on the Traffic tab of the domain statistics (a “used of limit” progress bar).
Exceeding the traffic volume
Section titled “Exceeding the traffic volume”When a domain exceeds the traffic volume included in its plan:
- the owner receives an email about the overage (once per billing period);
- the delivery speed while proxying for the domain and all its subdomains is temporarily reduced to the plan value (100 KB/s by default);
- a reduced-speed notice appears in the domain statistics.
The limit is lifted automatically at the start of the next billing period or after upgrading to a plan with a larger included volume.
DNS record limit
Section titled “DNS record limit”The number of DNS records per domain is limited by the plan. Attempting to add a record beyond the limit is rejected — choose a plan with a larger record limit.
